Topic 9: Determiners

Determiners are words that provide more information about a noun, such as quantity, possession, or specificity. They help clarify which noun is being referred to. Determiners come before nouns and can be categorized into several types:

1. Demonstratives: Indicate specific nouns in relation to the speaker.

   - Examples: this, that,these, those

2. Possessives: Show ownership or relation.

   - Examples: my, your, his, her, its, our, their

3. Quantifiers: Indicate the amount or quantity of a noun.

   - Examples: some, many, few, several, all, each

4. Interrogative Determiners: Used to ask questions about nouns.

   - Examples: which, what, whose

Determiners help specify and limit the meaning of nouns in sentences.
